CV Tips
Your CV is a powerful sales tool and should be designed to make prospective employers
take notice. It should be confident and include your experience, preferably specific
to the job you are applying for.
When writing a CV:
- Make the layout as simple as possible.
- Keep it concise – ideally no more than two pages long.
- Use short sentences and bullet-points.
- Ensure it is includes your achievements.
- Make sure you can back up all of the information in your CV.
- Start with your most recent job and work back chronologically.
- Account for gaps. Travelling or taking a few months off is fine – you do not need
to hide or ignore it.
- Make sure there are no typing or spelling errors. Get someone else to check it.
